Big breakthrough for the National Investigation Agency dealing with terror related cases. Mohammed Danish Ansari, a top Indian Mujahideen operative and a close associate of the outfits founder Yasin Bhatkal, was arrested from Dharbhanga in Bihar. Danish Ansari is suspected to have played a role in the 137 blasts in Mumbai. which claimed 26 lives. Being part of the Bihar IM module, he is also suspected to have a hand in the German Bakery blast in Pune, Chinnaswamy Stadium Blast in Bangalore and the Jama Masjid firing in Delhi.
