At about 12:30, just after Nitish arrived at Ramlila Grounds, the venue for his Adhikar Rally, a man in the crowd started waving a piece of black cloth at the rally. JD(U) members swooped down on him and assaulted him. He shouted slogans against Nitish Kumar and said the Bihar CM has not done any development in the state. Reports say the protester has been badly thrashed by Nitish Kumar's supporters after being detained by the police.
