The cop assault case by legislators in Maharashtra is still awaiting justice. The injured cop Sachin Suryavanshi is set to depose before the seven-member legislators panel appointed by Maharashtra assembly to probe the assault. The panel is expected to submit its report before the end of the ongoing budget session. Sub-inspector Suryavanshi was beaten up inside the state assembly on March 19 by a group of MLAs, six of whom were later suspended by the assembly.
