Incidents of political leaders bad-mouthing are steadily on the rise as Bihar Assembly election approaches, but Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ashwini Kumar Choubey took the level of personal attacks to a new low on Friday when he allegedly described Congress president Sonia Gandhi as the demonic mythical character 'Putana' and called Rahul Gandhi a parrot. Speaking at a poll rally in Nawada, Choubey also attacked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav by purportedly referring to them as criminal duo 'Billa-Ranga' and adding that they have aligned with Gandhi not knowing that they would die being poisoned by 'Putana'.
