NewsX: Rehabilitating thousands of local people whose lives have been shattered and all means of livelihood lost is a daunting task that lies ahead for the government. Sources are telling us that almost 125 villages have been badly damaged by floods as many as 600 villages still remain cut-off -- especially in the four worst affected districts of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Garhwal.
