Vigilance department sleuths have searched the residence of suspended IPS officer Amitabh Thakur. The search was carried out in connection with a disproportionate assets case against him. Thakur has last week given a complaint at Vibhuti Khand police station, seeking the registration of an FIR against the Vigilance Director and others for alleged misrepresentation of facts in their inquiry report.
