NewsX: In a tragic incident near Bangalore, 4 people including 2 women were mowed down by a speeding car allegedly driven by a former civic body president last night. Seven others have been injured.br br The accused 60-year-old Krishnappa who was president of the Bommanahalli city municipal council till 2009, fled after the accident. Police have registered a case of homicide against krishnappa though he's still absconding. 2 of the 4 people who died were vegetable vendors while the other 2 were customers.
