The ethics panel on Monday recommended that the Rajya Sabha membership of Vijay Mallya be revoked in light of the recent developments in his ‘loan’ cases. However, Mallya has been given a week’s time to respond to the panel’s recommendation. A final call on the RS membership of Mallya can be taken only by the Rajya Sabha panel.
