For the first time in three decades, Ralegan Siddhi, the village much admired for its water conservation experiments and watershed projects, has been hit hard by a drought. Union Minister Uma Bharti has asked states to find long-term solution to tackle drought and gave them the assurance of providing whatever help is required in fighting such a calamity.
