Lightening in different districts in the state of Bihar in the past 24 hours wreaked havoc for the inhabitants. As per reports, 54 people are dead, 8 injured and 2 are in critical condition due to erratic lightning strikes that took place on June 21. The Principal Secretary of State Disaster Management Department Vyasji informed that the government has announced a compensation of Rs. 4 lakh to the kin of the victims.
