Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh on a joint press conference in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday said that the government would try and find a safer alternative for pellet guns to quell protests in the region.br br In the conference attended by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Rajnath said the Ministry of Home Affairs will be appointing a nodal officer so that Kashmiris can address their grievances.
