The jailer of Orai prison in Jalaun district was caught on camera on Sunday with folded hands, greeting BJP MLA Sangeet Singh Som brought to jail after his arrest for allegedly instigating communal passions that triggered the Muzaffarnagar riots in which 48 people were killed. While Som was "welcomed" by jailer LP Singh, other jail staff saluted the MLA on his arrival at Orai prison.br Som, who represents Sarthana constituency, has been remanded in 14 days' judicial custody by a Muzaffarnagar court.
