Parliament Street Police Station in Delhi, which is the nodal collection centre for fake currency, has this time seen the biggest deposit ever by banks of counterfeit currency the valuation of which is more than 5 crore 31 lakh rupees. On an average fake currency notes worth 30 lakh is deposited here. Officials state that banks are using new technological ways to detect fake notes. If in RBI vaults original currency is stored, then there is a vault where 'officially' fake currency is deposited. And this time the valuation of fake currency notes deposited in this vault is highest ever.
