Acting upon guidelines issued by the Election Commission last month, police recovered unaccounted cash and liquor from across the city. br In the last 25 days, since the model code of conduct was implemented, police have recovered unaccounted cash worth Rs 1.28 crore from people claiming to represent different political parties. br br Besides the cash, police have also recovered around 1,643 litre of country liquor and 760 litre of Indian Made Foreign liquor. Apart from these, 4,895 bottles of country made liquor were seized, while the corresponding figure for IMFL has been 2,525. It is interesting that the AAP has all along alleged that rampant use of money and muscle by the Congress and the BJP has compromised the polls in the national capital.
