In an unprecedented move, six Congress MPs from the Seemandhra region on Monday gave notice to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar to move a no-confidence motion against their own party led UPA government.
They were joined by the TDP and the YSR Congress party, also upset over the Congress High Command's disregard for their sentiments against the division of Andhra Pradesh to form Telangana.
