The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday admitted that at least 11 children have died at various relief camps housing victims of communal riots that broke out in Muzaffarnagar on September 7. District Magistrate (DM) Muzaffarnagar Kaushal Raj Sharma said on Saturday that death of 11 children has been confirmed till date and similar reports of six other deaths were being verified.
