Alagiri the elder's son of DMK chief M Karunanidhi has sharpened his attack on brother's talent claiming that the party is selecting Lok Sabha candidate for upcoming polls on the basis of how much money vacant spent for upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Alagiri claims that money only criteria for selecting Lok Sabha candidates.
