Shakti Mills gang rape accused convicted for repeat offence

The three men accused of raping a photojournalist at Shakti Mills in Mumbai faced death penalty after a sessions court held them guilty under an amended IPC section for committing repeated offence.br br Principal Sessions Judge Shalini Phansalkar-Joshi convicted the accused - Vijay Jadhav (19), Kasim Bengali (21) and Mohammed Salim Ansari (28) - under section 376(e) (repeated offence of rape) of the Indian Penal Code, reported PTI.
