A petition was heard by the Supreme Court on Monday which was filed by some depositors and agents of Saradha group about setting up a central monitoring committee on the function of the chit funds. The division bench while hearing the case asked the petitioners to file a amended petition within a fortnight and the court said that they will soon give the verdict on the CBI probe.
