In major relief for the Maran brothers, the Madras High Court on Friday set aside the Information & Broadcasting Minister's orders to cancel the licence of their enterprise Kal Cables. br br The HC judge cited non-issuance of show cause notice as the reason behind its judgement. br br While cancelling the licence of Kal Cables, I&B Ministry had said that the company did not have security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs. br br Kal Cables, part of the media conglomerate Sun Group, is owned by former Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran and his brother Kalanidhi Maran.
