The Supreme Court on Monday made it clear that it will not intervene in the controversy over worship of Sai Baba as it is the subject of faith.br br The apex court refused to intervene on controversial statement made by Shankaracharya of Dwarkapeeth regarding worshipping Sai Baba.br br It said that Sai Baba devotees can file a civil suit or criminal case against Shankaracharya if their right to worship is hampered.br br br Talking exclusively after apex court remarks, Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati said that he hasn’t hurt anyone’s religious sentiment but put forward Sanatan custom.
