UP's honest officer who was transferred 6 times in the last one and a half years has decided to not go silently. UP's IAS Officer Surya Pratap Singh has joined the protesting teachers who have refused to take up evaluation of UP Board answer-sheets. Singh, a 1982-batch UP cadre officer, who has been transferred six times during past one-and-a-half years is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Public Enterprises Department.
