Footage captured by a warden at Coimbatore Central Prison and released to the media on Thursday showed convicts in solitary confinement being illtreated by prison authorities. Seven minutes of video recorded by the warden showed prisoners unclothed, except for their underwear, eating their meals served on the floor.They were also forced to stay awake round the clock. This footage has forced prison authorities to take action, forming a team to investigate the matter.
