IAS Officer Vijaykumar, who was sacked 3 days before his retirement has spoken to NewsX and said that it was the corrupt IAS Officers who were behind his sacking. Sent home without full retirement benefits, he said the government had persecuted him at the behest of corrupt IAS Officers. Vijayakumar reached the age of superannuation on april 4, 2015, and got an extension, as is routine practice, till the end of the month. But he was forcibly retired three days before his service was to end.
