A 17-year-old boy died in a city hospital on Thursday, allegedly due to the injuries he received after he was mercilessly beaten up by some inmates of David Sassoon Children Home in Matunga.br br "My son was battling for his life in the ICU of Nair Hospital. He passed away this morning," said Jameel Ahmed Khan (60), Amir Ahmed's father. "The Shivaji Park police were informed about the incident on May 23 itself, but they have not taken any action yet," he complained.
