Marking the 15th anniversary of India's victory in Kargil War on July 26, the Drass checkpoint is all decked up in advance for the Vijay Diwas celebrations. But there was a heaviness in the air as armymen remembered their colleagues and fellow-fighters, some dead at the line of duty and some tortured to death, defending the country.
