There has been nation-wide outrage over the subsidies enjoyed by the Members of Parliament. However our representatives have refused to give up these subsidies. Initially, they claimed that getting rid of these subsidies would not be practical since Parliamentary staff also enjoys its benefits. But now they are defiantly stating that subsidy is their right and parliamentary subsidy will simply not be revoked. BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that he does not support subsidies for MPs.
