The Maharashtra government has transferred the Sheena Bora Murder Case from the Mumbai police to the CBI. This comes just days after Mumbai Police Commissioner, Rakesh Maria, who was personally leading the investigation, was abruptly transferred. The Maharashtra Addl Chief Secy (home) K P Bakshi claims the decision has been taken with a view that there could be a financial motive behind the murder.
