Consumers in Delhi may be paying higher electricity bills in future as Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) is likely to hiked rates. DERC is expected to announce the revised rates in a press conference on Thursday. Delhi government has strongly opposed any hiking of electricity rates but DERC may announce rate hikes to help DISCOMS.
