The Delhi High Court criticized the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for its workers’ strike in the national capital which has entered the tenth day today and issued notices to all the unions. The court observed that common people in the city are suffering owing to the ongoing tussle between the BJP-ruled MCD and the AAP-ruled Delhi government. The counsels for all the three MCDs told the court that salaries till Jan 31 have been paid and the workers are now on strike for arrears.
