A day after 3 people were killed and 9 others were injured in Rohtak, Haryana, the army has been called in and section 144 has been imposed in five volatile districts. Shoot at sight orders were also issued in violent-hit Rohtak and Bhiwani. The violence broke out yesterday when the police opened fire on Jat protesters seeking reservation. The situation continues to remain tense as the Jat leaders refused to withdraw their agitation till legislation is passed.
