Biscuits and Gravy | FLUFFY VEGAN DELICIOUSNESS

We went for one of our all time favorite foods tonight and it came out exactly like we remember! You have to try this and let us know what you think!br br Please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE & SHARE with friends and family! br br INSTAGRAMs: Mrs.ModernVegan - Mr.ModernVeganbr br Biscuit Ingredients:br 3 cups all purpose flourbr 1 12 tablespoons baking powderbr 12 tablespoon saltbr 12 cup vegan butter (or coconut oil in a solid state)br 1 12 cups unsweetened plant milkbr 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegarbr br Biscuit Recipe: br Preheat oven to 450 degrees fahrenheit.br Add the dry ingredients plus vegan butter (or coconut oil) to a food processor. br Process until all is well combined, and there are no chunks. br Add the milk & vinegar to the baking mix. (OR make “buttermilk” by adding the vinegar to 1 ½ cup of milk. After about 10 minutes, add the milk mixture to the baking mix.)br The dough should be a little sticky, but not too wet.br Use a large spoon to scoop out your biscuits on to your baking panbr Bake for 15 - 20 minutes (until the tops and bottoms are light and golden.)br br Gravy Ingredients:br 1-3 tablespoon vegan butter (or coconut oil)br ¼ cup all purpose flourbr 12 teaspoon garlic powderbr 12 teaspoon onion powderbr 12 teaspoon dried sagebr 12 teaspoon dried thymebr 12 teaspoon saltbr 12 teaspoon pepper (or red pepper flake for a spicy gravy)br 1-2 tablespoon nutritional yeastbr 3 cups Soy milk (or your favorite unsweetened plant milk)br Optional (mix in some crumbled up vegan breakfast sausage for extra texture and flavor)br br Gravy Recipe:br Turn your burner to medium heat.br Add butter (or oil) and seasonings and nooch to a pan to toast a bit.br Add flour and cook for couple minutes, stirring constantly (slowly add milk if needed)br Pour in soy milk a little at a time.br Keep stirring until all milk is in and the the clumps are all dissolved.br Season to taste if needed.br Bring gravy up to a simmer, stirring until your gravy thickens. br (If your gravy gets too thick, lower the heat and add more milk to thin it out.)br Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of freshness and color.
