The Samjhauta blast case hearing in the NIA Spl court in Panchkula in Haryana has been deferred till March 14. this comes after a Pakistani national filed an application in the court stating that the PAK nationals who were eyewitnesses in the case were not even summoned by the NIA court and the had no knowledge for the proceedings taking place in the case. She wants to place 'additional evidence' on record. And has sought hearing in the case in the Special CBI court. The NIA court was expected to deliver the verdict in the case today. The Pakistani national - Raheela - who claimed to have evidence with regard to the case, said she was the daughter of one of the victims of the train blast. Also claimed that she had not received any summons and that those Pakistani nationals who had received the summons were denied visas to come to India. The case is being heard 12 years after improvised explosive devices (IEDs) set off blasts on board the train, killing 68 people, including 43 Pakistan citizens.
