Hong Kong band David Boring have become the first band from the city to be invited to the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. The punk band, which was formed in 2013, is named after the unlikely hero from the American cult classic graphic novel of the same name. They also featured in the late Anthony Bourdain's last episode of Parts Unknown, slowly reaching out to a more global audience.
