According to WA Attorney br General Bob Ferguson, br guests with Latino sounding br names were targeted. Many guests were either br detained by ICE or deported br after their information br was shared by Motel 6. More than $10 million br of the settlement fund br will be paid out to guests who br were affected by the practice. After settling a similar lawsuit in Arizona, br Motel 6 has since discontinued the practice.
