In an exclusive interview to iTV network, Lok Sabha MP from Muzaffarnagar Sanjeev Balyan has said that if voted to power they would introduce a law on population control. Balyan said that he has been working on this law for a year now and it is his life's goal to see such a life come into effect. The question remains if this is a veiled comment on the minority population in U.P and especially Balyan's constituency Muzzafarnagar where the minority population is close to 42.49 with the Muslim population itself consisting of 41.30 of the population. Remember, a U.P CM Yogi Adityanath too, had recently referred to the Muslim league as 'virus' in a tweet saying that the congress has been inflicted with such a virus, a comment which led to much furore.
