Shortly after releasing Margot’s final album he lost over 40 pounds, was to forced to abandon a near sold out tour, and spent the next couple years recovering and writing a new record about absence. In 2015, after the dissipation of a longtime partnership & marriage, he underwent surgery on his abdomen and re-wrote the record about absence. The result is Lemon Cotton Candy Sunset, Edwards’ first post-Margot solo album, out March 31st on Joyful Noise Recordings.
