The band was formed in 1987 in Bellingham, Washington by primary songwriters Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow. They are best known for their radio hits "Golden Blunders" (from Dear 23), as well as "Dream All Day", "Solar Sister" and "Flavor of the Month" (from Frosting on the Beater).br br The Posies celebrate 30 years of making music in 2018, and coinciding with that we are re-releasing our classic 1990s albums “Dear 23”, “Frosting on the Beater” and “Amazing Disgrace and double CDdouble LP sets. The CDs contain the original album and a full CD (and more) of bonus tracks, most of which have never been released — not even on our 2000 box set of outtakes.
