More bank branches will be open in the evenings and on weekends, …and people will be able to open a new bank account more easily.
The Financial Services Commission and Financial Supervisory Service announced earlier this month that …the number of branches that provide services during the evenings and on weekends, …or upon reservation, will be increased by around 35 percent to 9-hundred-86 this year.
Banks will also expand online and phone banking services.
And bank users will also now be able to open a new account within 20 business days of having opened a previous account.
This comes after a restriction aimed at preventing fake bank accounts was removed.
The Financial Services Commission plans to provide financial companies with a new set of guidelines in the near future.
