Ishant Sharma ripped through the RR top-order by picking up three wickets in the Powerplay and then Amit Mishra picked up back to back wickets - he would have got a hat-trick had Trent Boult held on to the catch to break the backbone of the RR batting. Mishra finished with figures of 3 for 17 and Ishant returned with 3 for 38. For Royals, it was Riyan Parag all the way, he scored his maiden IPL fifty to somehow drag the Royals to 115 for 9.
