Fox News host Brian Kilmeade argued on Monday that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick should stand for the national anthem because he lived in a country where he had the advantage of being adopted by white people.br br Over the weekend, Kaepernick told reporters that he would continue to sit during the anthem as a silent protest against police brutality and social injustice.br br “To me, this is something that has to change, and when there’s significant change — and I feel like that flag represents what It’s supposed to represent, and this country is representing people the way it’s supposed to — I’ll stand,” Kaepernick said.br br On his Monday radio show, Kilmeade asked former Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann if he disagreed with Kaepernick.
