Draft education policy: Government revises policy after outrage, no compulsary Hindi in India

Amid the escalating row over government's draft education policy, govt has tweaked the draft introducing flexibility in class 6 and 7 and also removing the clause which listed 'Hindi as a compulsory language'. Meanwhile, the DMK has adopted a resolution urging the BJP not to play the sentiments of Tamils and test their patience.
