Lady Gaga and Adele Invited br to Join Motion Picture Academy 842 new members of the Academy br were announced on Tuesday. Among those new members br were 28 individuals within br the field of music, including Lady Gaga, br Adele and Annie Lennox. Each of the performers br have won Oscars. Gaga won for "A Star Is Born," Adele was br recognized br for "Skyfall," and Lennox won for "Into the West" from 'Lord of the Rings.' Three other Oscar winners added to the Academy this year include 'Black Panther' composer Ludwig Goransson and "Shallow" co-writers br Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt.
