Mahershala Ali has been cast in Marvel‘s Blade reboot, but many fans were concerned that Wesley Snipes had been left out.
According to Uproxx, many feel that Snipe’s turn as the half-human/half-vampire assassin lit the comicbook movie flame first.
However, as Snipes explained in a statement, he’s excited to see what the “beautiful and talented” Ali ends up doing with the role.
