African ostrich is a running bird, originating from Africa. It is the only surviving species of their Struthionidae, and the genus Struthio. They are very different in shape with their necks, long legs and can run at speeds of up to 65 km hour. Ostrich is considered to be the largest living bird and is raised all over the world.
