And if you want to try any of these recipes for yourself, there's a refresher below:br br Recipe 1: Rigatoni Pasta in a Mugbr br You'll need:br br - 4 tbsp tomato saucebr - 0.7 oz grated mozzarella br - 1 tbsp basilbr - 1.4 oz cooked rigatoni br - grated parmesan for sprinkling on topbr br Here's how:br br 1. Put one tablespoon of tomato sauce in the mug and sprinkle half the mozzarella on top. Then add the basil, the other half of the mozzarella and another tablespoon of tomato sauce.br br 2. Set the rigatoni upright in the mugbr br 3. Pour the rest of the tomato sauce on to the pasta and sprinkle with parmesan.br br 4. Microwave the mug for 20 minutes at 355°F. To serve, turn the mug upside down onto a plate and remove it to reveal your pasta.br br br Recipe 2: Pizza in a Mugbr br You'll need:br br - 2 tbsp flour br - 1 pinch baking powderbr - 1 pinch baking sodabr - 1 pinch saltbr - 1 tbsp milkbr - 1 tbsp olive oilbr - 2 tbsp tomato sauce br - 1½ tbsp grated mozzarellabr - a few slices of salamibr - oreganobr br Here's how:br br 1. For the dough, put the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, milk and olive oil in the mug. Stir them together into a creamy dough.br br 2. Directly on top of this, add the tomato sauce, followed by the mozzarella, salami and some oregano.br br 3. Now bake the pizza in the microwave for at 650 watts for 2 minutes.br br br Recipe 3: Omelette in a Mugbr br You'll need:br br - 1 tomatobr - some oilbr - 2 eggsbr - salt and pepperbr - 2 slices of diced boiled hambr - 0.4 oz fresh spinach leavesbr - 1 tbsp milkbr - 0.4 oz grated parmesanbr - 0.4 oz grated cheddar br br Here's how:br br 1. Chop the tomato.br br 2. Brush the insides of the mug with some oil and crack the eggs into it. Beat them together with a pinch of salt and one of pepper.br br 3. Add the tomatoes, ham, spinach, milk and parmesan to the eggs and mix the ingredients together with a fork.br br 4. Then put the mug in the microwave for 2 minutes at 650 watts. Finally, sprinkle some cheddar over your finished omelette.br br br Recipe 4: Pie in a Mugbr br You'll need:br br - 2 tbsp olive oilbr - 1 tbsp butterbr - ¼ each of red, yellow and green peppers, dicedbr - ½ onion, dicedbr - 1 chopped garlic clovebr - 1 pinch saltbr - 1 tbsp fajita spice mixbr - 1 tbsp flourbr - 6.7 fl oz vegetable stockbr - 5.3 oz cooked, shredded chicken breastbr - 1 tbsp sour creambr - some puff pastrybr - some egg yolkbr br Here's how:br br 1. Heat oil and butter in a pan, before throwing in the peppers, onion and garlic. Season with the fajita spice mix. Add in the flour and pour in the vegetable stock. Mix everything together and bring it to the boil. br br 2. Add the chicken breast and sour cream to the pan.br Spoon the mixture from the pan into a mug and cover it with a small circular portion of puff pastry. Brush the pastry with the egg yolk. Now cook the mug in the microwave for 25 minutes at 375°F.
