But that doesn't always have to be the case, as the following recipe proves. Today, we're bringing the two elements together to create an unusual, yet wonderfully tasty dinnertime meal. Bring on the beer!br br You'll need:br br - 1 whole chickenbr - 3⅓ fl oz beerbr br For the marinade:br br - 1 tbsp balsamic vinegarbr - 3 tbsp olive oilbr - 3 tsp honeybr - 1 tbsp mustardbr - 1 tbsp tomato pureebr - 1 tsp garlic powderbr - 1 tsp rosemarybr - 1 tsp paprikabr - salt and pepperbr - 4 tbsp beerbr br For the side:br br - 7 oz potatoesbr - olive oilbr - salt and pepperbr br Here's how:br br 1. First, fill a glass with 3⅓ fl oz of beer and sit the chicken over it.br Next, mix the ingredients for the marinade and brush it onto the chicken.br br 2. Place the glass with the chicken on a baking tray and spread the potatoes around it. Pour a little olive oil on top, and season with salt and pepper.br br 3. Place the baking tray with the chicken and potatoes in a convection oven set 320°F for 60 minutes. Make sure that the chicken continues to sit upright on the glass of beer. Avoid preheating the oven as this will heat up the glass too quickly.
