You can find this recipe below ↓↓.br br ******************************************************br br You'll Need:br br For the shortcake dough:br br - 3 oz butter, cubedbr - 3 tbsp powdered sugarbr - pinch of saltbr - ½ whisked egg (2 tbsp liquid eggs)br - 1½ tbsp ground almondsbr - 5 oz flourbr br For the vanilla pudding:br br - 10 fl oz milkbr - 1 tbsp sugarbr - 1 egg yolkbr - 2 tbsp starchbr - 1 vanilla beanbr br Extra:br br - square cake layer (sponge cake or pound cake work best)br - melted milk chocolatebr - strawberriesbr - whipped creambr br Here's How:br br 1. Prepare the shortcake dough, knead until smooth, and refrigerate for an hour. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 375°F. Once the dough has chilled, flour your work surface, roll out the dough, and cut out one 4 x 4 inch square and four 2 x 4 inch rectangles, as shown in the video. Bake for 10 minutes and let the shortcake cookies cool before moving on to the next step.br br 2. The square cookie piece will be the base of your "house." Spread the melted milk chocolate on the edges of the rectangle cookies and stick one on each side of the square cookie base to assemble the house. Leave one side open for now.br br 3. Cut a square piece of sponge cake or pound cake to fit inside the cookie house, place it on the square cookie base, and attach the last rectangle cookie with the melted chocolate. br br 4.
