Marv Tuttle is dedicated to helping children with disabilities experience the underwater world. As the first wheelchair user volunteer diver at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Marv helped pioneer the Days of Discovery program, allowing children ages 8 to 14 with disabilities and special needs to discover scuba diving in the aquarium's Great Tide Pool. For helping special-needs kids learn to love and protect our seas, Marv Tuttle is Scuba Diving’s August 2019 Sea Hero.
