This deficiency will cause you to have dry eyes. But, at the same time, you get a thickened mucus around the eyes which can cause you to have itchy eyes. br br However, if you feel like you have sand or crust in your eyes, but there isn’t actually anything there, that is something different. That could be because of a vitamin B2 deficiency or a low blood sugar situation.br br Vitamin A — is a fat-soluble vitamin. The active form comes from animal products.
